Will you draw the line?

Do you know that the time has come for you to move forward but you are still hiding in the shadows of someone else? Has God called you to the forefront of ministry? Do you serve faithfully in another’s ministry but neglect the vision God has given to you?

Now there is nothing wrong with helping another, we are called to serve, but if in serving you hide from the call on your own then that must be addressed.

In your hiding behind others, you’re telling God that He does not know the plans He has for you; you’re inadvertently being the god over your own life. In essence you are saying not your will be done God, but my will be done! Sounds harsh, I know, but true! You are denying those who God has orchestrated for you to meet and minister to something they need. You have something inside of you that you are denying another from experiencing!

There must be a time where we understand that we are each responsible for the gifts that God has given us; we are called to steward what God has given us and move in our ministry gifts. Hiding behind another may even feel comfortable as the fear of failure, fear of not being good enough, fear of not meeting the expectations you have placed on yourself, or the expectations placed on you by others start to creep in and take over. However, if we truly stand on God’s word, then we must break that spirit of fear and move forwards.

You make a move in Him, and God will honour that. He did not call you to fail, so we must rest assured that everything we need to succeed is in Him and through Him. God will not call you out and set you up to fail, that’s a lie from the enemy to keep us in bondage and held back. God will not push himself on you or compel you to do something, but what a shame it would be to live a life in Christ and not fulfil all he has designed for us to experience.

So, where and when do you draw the line? The time is now the season is now, if God has been calling you to greater, you will never find perfect peace until you fully answer the call that He specifically has for you to achieve, No one else can achieve what he has called you to do. Don’t deny the world of your calling and gifting! Yes, I said world, because as you impact one, they will impact another and another! That’s how the gospel is spread!

There is a time and season to everything, and we must be mindful and prayerful to know the season we are in for our lives. Will you take the challenge and move out of the shadows? Will you continue to silence the voice of the one calling you to greater? Where will you draw the line? The world is waiting for you! YES YOU!
